From Kotobukiya and sculpted by Tsubame comes this Horror Bishoujo 1/7 scale figure of Leatherface from the 1974 American slasher film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre which is known for originating many of the staples in the genre and is part of the permanent collection at New York City’s Museum of Modern Art. It is also known, surprisingly to some, as the ultimate pro-vegan horror film. It triggered director Tobe Hooper to give up meat during the filming as well as for years after and triggered writer-director Guillermo Del Toroto to become and remain vegan.
Measuring 8.7”, this murderous beauty stands on a plankboard base of feathers, blood, teeth, and bones while holding a chainsaw covered in blood with droplets dripping off its blade. Super realistic blood, completed with a glossy, slime like appearance, also covers her hands and yellow apron. Only wearing a T-shirt, her Bubba Sawyer-like thicc physique is on full display from her curvy chest to her soft, shapely thighs. Her pretty eyes with a lost expression and slightly open mouth have been cleanly painted.
The chainsaw looks so amazing because it was turned into 3D data and then adjusted to the size of the statue to be authentically recreated. The iconic human skin mask is also included as an optional accessory to display her with. An absolute must-have for Horror Bishoujo collectors and fans of the history-making film!
